MÉi Says Hello!

Hi, my name is Eileen. I am a Filipino by birth and American by choice. I’m a happily married and a stay-at-home wife. A wife of an excellent husband. A best friend and a confidant of an intelligent man whom a stud to his peers.

I’m neither a professional chef nor do I have extensive training in the kitchen. None. My craving for different foods is what driving me to “search” for good recipes. Aside from my passion of cooking, there is really nothing fancy here. I’m just an ordinary blogger who enjoy sharing my kitchen “escapade” with everyone out there.

I’m all about food where flavor is more important and the appearance only come second. A lot of times, we try eating healthy. And preparing meal myself is our only way to ditch all unnecessary amount of sodium, fats and calories.

Apart from being into cooking, I am also a huge fan of road tripping (with my husband, of course!) as well as gardening, crafting and bowling. Oh, and “c.o.l.l.e.c.t.i.n.g” shoes is another. 😉

So, why Méi’s Cookery? Mei stands for M(ichael) and Ei(leen), and although cookery also means ‘cooking’, the former comes after my two old food & dessert blogs which I’ve merged together. There you have it, perhaps. 😉

Thanks everyone for dropping by. I hope you’ll find this board helpful, and hoping that y’all enjoy the recipes as well.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Méi
